Catalogue

Create and manage tags that bundle products or categories together, from the Catalogue page.

The Catalogue page is where you manage tags: bundles that group a set of products or categories together. Open it from Products → Catalogue in the dashboard sidebar.

Tags are used elsewhere in your store (for example in the storefront's product blocks) to display a specific set of products or categories.

The toolbar

Above the tag list you'll find:

  • Search Tags. Find a tag quickly by name.
  • Filter. Narrow the list by association type and sort direction.
  • Add New Tag. Create a new tag (see below).

Filter

Click Filter to narrow and order the list:

  • Association Type. Show All tags, or only tags of type Product or Category.
  • Sort. Order the list Ascending or Descending.

The tag list

Each row in the table shows:

  • Tag Name. The tag's name, for example Fresh Picks Edit or Best Sellers. Click the arrow to expand and see the items in the tag.
  • Description. A short description of what the tag bundles, for example "Our most popular products loved by busy households every week."
  • Association Type. Whether the tag groups Products or Categorys.
  • Associated Items. How many items are in the tag.
  • Actions. An Edit button, plus a dropdown (the arrow next to Edit) with Delete to remove the tag.
Some tags are auto-generated by Orderain (for example ai-categories and ai-products, which bundle all AI-template categories and products).

Adding a tag

Click Add New Tag to open the Add Tag page. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

Name and describe the tag

  • Name (required). The tag's name.
  • Description. An optional description of what the tag is for.

Choose the association type

Set Association Type (required) to Product or Category. This decides whether the tag bundles products or categories.

Select the items

Click Select Products (or Select Categories) to choose the items to add. In the picker you can:

  • Search for items by name.
  • Tick the checkbox on each item you want. The count of selected items (for example 0 / 10 selected) is shown at the top.
  • Page through items with the pagination controls.
  • Click Add … Products to confirm, or Cancel to close.

Your picks then appear under Selected Products (or Selected Categories) on the page.

Create the tag

Click Add to create the tag.

A tag can hold up to 10 items.

Editing and deleting

For any tag in the list:

  • Edit. Click Edit to update the tag's name, description, association type, or items.
  • Delete. Use the dropdown next to Edit to remove the tag.
