Taxes
Set up tax rates and rules so the correct tax is applied to customer orders, from the Taxes settings tab.
The Taxes tab is where you define how tax is charged on orders. Open Settings from the dashboard sidebar and select the Taxes tab.
Use it to:
- Create tax rates. Add the tax rates that apply to your store.
- Set tax rules. Choose how and where each rate applies, for example by region.
- Assign taxes to products. Taxes set up here can be selected when you add or edit a product.
The tax you configure here is calculated at checkout and included in the order
total. Assign the right tax to each product so customers are charged correctly.
